Banned BooksThis week (September 27-October 3) is Banned Books Week.  It’s the library community’s time each year to celebrate the freedom to read, and to remind you of your right to seek out, express, and share ideas, even those that may be unorthodox or unpopular.  We showcase the books – many of them familiar classics or modern favorites – that have been challenged or banned because of the ideas they contain, and we reaffirm our commitment to fighting censorship.
