Through January 27, you can vote for the book that will be given away to all 4-year-olds in Colorado! Watch videos of Colorado community leaders reading from the three finalists, then vote online for your favorite! Your votes will be taken into consideration for the book selection. Everyone is welcome to vote! The finalists are: What Will We Build Today? by Katherine Durgin-Bruce, Worms for Lunch? by Leonid Gore, and Mouse Mess by Linnea Riley.
More about the program:
OneBook 4 Colorado provides every 4-year-old in Colorado with a free copy of the same book in English or Spanish in order to promote early literacy skills, help families serve as their child?s first and most important teachers, and foster a culture of reading. Over the last five years, more than 350,000 books have been given to Colorado 4-year-olds across the state through public and military libraries and preschools in the Denver Preschool Program.
